Heidi Klum Teases What's to Come for Her Halloween Costume: 'Starting to Take Shape'

Klum shared a video on Instagram of what could be her costume for this year

Heidiween is coming!

Heidi Klum's annual Halloween party is the place to see and be seen — and the top model takes her costume very, very seriously.

Klum, 51, makes it known that she starts planning next year's costume as soon as the current year's party ends (and sometimes even before that), but she never reveals her secrets until she sets foot inside her party.

With Oct. 31 just around the corner, Klum is starting to tease what fans can expect when she unveils her costume for the year, but as we've come to understand with the America's Got Talent judge, nothing is ever obvious with her costumes.

Klum posted a video on Instagram on Sept. 2 that looks like it could be some sort of turtle shell, but that's way too easy, and she'd never give away her whole costume at the beginning of September. Because she has her Instagram comments shut off, we can't even turn to other fans to see what they may be speculating either.

For Halloween last year, Klum and a crew of Cirque du Soleil performers dressed as a peacock. On the red carpet at her party, she told PEOPLE, “I wanted to do a costume with many, many people. I wanted to have a bunch of people and we all become one thing. And for me, in my mind, that one thing was the peacock,” she said.

Her husband, Tom Kaulitz, wasn't part of the peacock, but he did come dressed up (of course). His costume was an egg.

While looking back at her many Halloween costumes with PEOPLE last year, Klum said, “I always try to find things that people naturally wouldn’t do. Most people do nurses or police officers, but I was always looking for something that I hadn’t seen.”

Stretching back to 2000, Klum's costumes are all unique — and have that little bit of something extra that make them so Heidi. Whether it's a worm costume that she can barely move in or an elderly woman costume (that she wore the year she was 40), all of her looks are over the top.

And every year, we can't wait to see just what she'll wear when Oct. 31 hits!
