Southerners know that the unifying star of the show on Game Day is the tailgate spread. We’re a passionate bunch about Rotel Dip, sliders, football-shaped desserts, Pigs In A Blanket, and any other handheld appetizer we can easily pack and tote. And even if the game doesn’t quite go as planned, we can always rely on Buffalo Chicken Dip to have our backs.

Hellmann’s mayonnaise wants to help make the tailgate spread your best one yet—even if the odds aren’t in your team’s favor—with their new “mayotivational” campaign. This fall, the condiment brand is going on the road and traveling cross-country in a custom tailgate-inspired RV to keep team spirit alive and cheer up fans of underdog football teams in their home cities. They’re also bringing along their new mascot, Manny Mayo!

The Hellmann's RV will visit local neighborhoods and hotspots in the underdog's city and bring “watch-party essentials…like game day food spreads, rally merch, and surprises for fans who need the most motivation,” Hellmann’s shared in a press release.

This includes food spreads of dips, sandwiches, and wings to sustain groups of five to six fans “proudly cheering on their downtrodden team.” Expect turkey, ham, and Swiss sub sandwiches, potato dippers with Buffalo Chicken and Creamy Onion Dip, veggie sticks, and one secret regional dish for each stop, the brand said.

Manny Mayo and the mayotivational RV will be making their first stop in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday, September 29 and touring for the next four weeks, through October 20. To find out where the spread will be covered next, follow along with Hellmann’s adventures on Instagram.

“We know that some people show up to the tailgate for football, and others show up for the food spread,” says Chris Symmes, Head of Marketing, Dressings at Unilever. “Whatever your motivation is, Hellmann’s is covering the spread for football’s dedicated fans and helping to mayotivate them this season. From our Big Game advertising spots to our partnership with [Tennessee Titan] Will Levis, Hellmann’s is continuing to deepen its footprint within football culture and remind fans that mayo is the ingredient that brings their game day dishes together.”
