Ina Garten knows there’s no place like home.

After an eventful time in Paris, the Barefoot Contessa star shared a photo of the gorgeous garden at her East Hampton, N.Y. estate, along with a message of appreciation. “Paris was wonderful for the Olympics but it's always good to be home,” she wrote on Instagram on Friday, Aug. 9. “Have a great weekend everyone!"

Garten ended the caption with three heart emojis and hashtags naming all the plants within view: #hydrangea#cleome#verbenabonariensis#roses.

She previously showed off the garden's lush greenery in an Instagram video in 2021, giving a glimpse of where she grows tomatoes and herbs, such as sage, chives, thyme and tarragon.

"[There is] lavender and lots of fresh herbs that I use in cooking," she said.

Before she returned to New York this week, the Food Network star was showing the Today show’s hosts around Paris, where she and her husband Jeffrery Garten have had an apartment for 25 years.

“It’s the city I’m the happiest in,” Ina told Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie on July 26. “It’s just wonderful.”

“The thing about the French is, everybody enjoys their life here,” she added.

Ina took Kotb, Guthrie and their cohosts Al Roker and Craig Melvin to Marché Raspail, a food market that has special meaning for her and Jeffrey.

“Fifty years ago, Jeffrey and I went on a four-month camping trip,” she said. “And this market we came to, and I’ve always loved it, and it just kind of opened up a world of food to me that I didn’t know existed.”

“I just wanted to show it to you because it changed my life,” she continued.

Ina also guided the group to her favorite cheese shop, Barthélémy, and Poilâne, a bakery that opened in 1932.

“Ina in Paris, not Emily in Paris,” she joked in a joint post shared by her account and Today’s on July 24, referring to the popular Netflix series starring Lily Collins.

“We need to make ‘Ina in Paris’ a new show,” read the accompanying caption.
