Another summer means another TikTok trend taking over fashion and design inspiration. Last year it was the tomato girl summer and for a while, Coastal Grandmother was the end-all-be-all for that beachy, Hamptons aesthetic. In 2024, though, Amalficore is here to add a little European charm to the coastal vibe—and I’m on board. Think: Italian summers, Aperol spritzes, lemon prints, lightweight fabrics, feminine and romantic silhouettes and effortless makeup to top it off.
Creator @jackiecamardo sums up Amalfi Coast fashion perfectly in her what-to-pack video. “It combines the glamour of Italian sophistication with the relaxed ease of Mediterranean living; timeless elegance,” she says. I’m picturing a sweet, beachy date night in this sexy mini dress. From the side cut-outs adorned with ring details to the boat neckline, it’s the perfect pick for warmer weather. The fabric is a lightweight (lined) cotton blend, and while it’s designed to skim your body without looking too snug, there’s no stretch, so don’t expect any give.
2. J.Crew Ruched Shoulder Swimsuit
Obviously I couldn’t pass up this lemony one-piece for an Italian-inspired summer wardrobe. The one-shoulder silhouette and intricate pattern gives this suit a luxurious vibe and the ruched sides are great for flattering your waist. If you like a little bit of a cheeky bottom, this one may not be for you as it has very full coverage.
3. Ann Taylor The Palazzo Pant
Versatile pants with a unique shape or color are a great staple piece to bring on summer vacations or to keep in your closet for date nights, nights out with friends or whatever event you have on the books. I’m in love with the vibrant orange shade of these palazzo pants to throw on with crop tops, billowy blouses or even over a swimsuit for a more upscale beach look. The back has a stretch panel along the waistband, and they also come in petite sizes.

In my head, I’m strolling along the Amalfi coast sipping an Aperol spritz in this trapeze maxi dress. The sweet floral pattern and black blocked hem are the perfect modern-minimalist-feminine combination for a summer look. The polyester material will wash well and the neckline strap is adjustable, too.
5. Urban Outfitters Sardine Bath Mat
Looking for a little splash of whimsy and color for your bathroom? This adorable floor mat will make you smile every time you step out of the shower. It’s made of a plush cotton that the brand describes as “cushy” when you step on it and the fun design brings a bit of the sea right to your bathroom. It’s 20 by 30 inches and comes in green and blue.
6. Anthropologie 3D Slingback Heels
Slingback kitten heels are not a style I predicted to see on my 2024 fashion bingo card, but they’ve become a popular style for casual and dressy occasions alike. These have a one-inch heel, and the pointed, closed toe is sophisticated and sleek without adding too much fanciness. The upper is leather and while the strap isn’t adjustable, it should be easy to slip over your heels.
7. Elrene Home Fashions Mediterranean Cloth Napkins
An outdoor dinner party isn’t complete without a cute set of cloth napkins to really finish off your tablescape. The blue and yellow detailed design on these linens are fresh and vibrant for summertime. They come in a set of four, so you may want to grab two or three sets to make sure you have enough for all your guests.

This lavish two-piece set is begging to be photographed on the Italian coastline, but if you can only swing a swanky outdoor dinner with a fancy cocktail, that will look just as chic. The waist is fitted and has a few pleats to lay more seamlessly and, yes, there are pockets. The brand suggests sizing up if you have a larger chest and notes this style is best suited for A to C cups.

Versatile sandals are a timeless staple piece. These have a slanted, three-inch block heel and a net-like upper to add a bit of texture to your look. One customer notes that the netting is stretchy for a comfortable fit, too. You can grab these in beige sand, olive aloe or black.

One of my favorite things about raffia is that the material is versatile enough to look chic with many different trends. Puff sleeves and a ruched bodice scream romance, if you ask me. This darling dress has a square neckline and a very feminine silhouette to offset the minimalist design. I recommend adding pops of red to this look, whether that be a bright lip, heels or a mini handbag.
