Keeping your puppy occupied is so, so difficult. They have all that puppy energy and they're going to want to use it to play all the time. Every pet owner knows that finding that one toy that your pup really loves isn't easy. But luckily one Newfie in Oregon has found a prized possession — and was so sad when it stopped working.

The Newfoundland puppy was captivated by the trinket, which plays music and sings along.

In a video shared by the Newfoundland's owner @nottabear, it shows the puppy playing with a singing dinosaur toy.

"B—I—N—G—O... B—I—N—G—O... B—I—N—G—O. And Bingo was his name-o," the song plays.

The puppy was transfixed by the toy. He was totally into the song. But then suddenly...it stopped. The Newfie was crestfallen. He started crying and crying. Where did the song go?

"Don't stop singing Bingo! It's my favorite song!" the video's caption reads.

People in the comments section agreed — the pup deserved to hear the song one more time. "Turn that ON IMMEDIATELY," urged one commenter. "Stop this is so darn cute he loves his Bingo," another person praised. "Awwww you can hear him cry, turn it back on!!!!!" someone else pleaded. While another commenter was really struggling not to find the whole thing super cute. "I don't need another puppy. I don't need another puppy," they joked.

Ways to Keep Your Puppy Entertained

In our humble opinion, the miraculous part was that the Newfie sat still for more than a minute. Young dogs rarely sit still. And they need lots of attention from their owners to be happy and stay out of trouble.

You'll want to find healthy ways for your pup to get that energy out too. One way to keep your dog engaged is to arrange treasure hunts. Place treats or kibble around the house for your puppy to find. You might even want to create obstacles to make it even more of a challenge.

Puzzle toys are another great option. Kong toys are very popular options with dogs of all ranges. They even sell special kong toys made for puppies. These toys make dogs do a little work to get to the kibble or treats inside, allowing them to release tons and tons of energy.

Playdates are another great option. Dogs need to socialize, especially when they're young. So arrange a meeting with your pup and another dog if you want them to have a really fun day.

Finally, nothing beats a long walk. Dogs love to be outside and they love spending time with you. So head outside and enjoying those fleeting puppy years.
