Dominos gave pizza away all summer long, Little Caesars dropped its delivery prices to help us kick off football season, and Pizza Hut rewards its members with points every time they place an order, which can be saved up or redeemed for favorite menu items.

Now, the chain with the big red hat is offering fans even more free pizza as it celebrates one of its most nostalgic community programs.

How To Get A Free Personal Pan Pizza From Pizza Hut

During October fans have a chance to snag a free personal pan pizza to celebrate a milestone anniversary for Pizza Hut’s Book It! Program. For those unfamiliar, Book It! is a free incentive program geared towards fostering the love of reading in children. You may remember the reading logs from your childhood and the excitement of getting the coveted award certificate that you begged your parents to immediately cash in.

The program is still going strong after 40 successful years of encouraging literacy and providing free pizza to kids who hit their reading goals. Pizza Hut wants to celebrate the program’s accomplishments with customers by offering its tastiest reward to readers of all ages.

For a limited time, Pizza Hut fans can use the code “BOOKIT40” when ordering online or in the Pizza Hut app to receive a free Personal Pan Pizza with an $8 minimum purchase. While it does require the purchase to be eligible for the deal, it’s a great opportunity to try out one of Pizza Hut’s Tavern-style pizzas, grab a couple of cheesy melts, or enjoy an order of lemon-pepper wings.

In addition to free food, Pizza Hut is also offering a family-sized deal benefiting the Book It! Program. Guests can choose the Book It! Bundle when ordering, which includes two large one-topping pizzas and an order of garlic and Parmesan seasoned breadsticks. For each bundle sold, the chain will give a portion of the proceeds back to the program to help support its mission in the future.

The code to get a free personal pan pizza is valid from Oct. 1 through 30, or until one million codes have been redeemed, so be sure to act fast if you want to cash in on this limited-time deal.
