Prince George is all grown up.

The oldest child of Prince William and Princess Catherine turns 11 years old today, on July 22, and to mark the happy milestone, his parents shared a new portrait of him, as well as a message of congratulations.

In the black-and-white photo taken by Kate and shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s Instagram and X accounts, the little prince sits in a black suit and white collared top and looks straight at the camera. He wears a string bracelet and smiles comfortably, looking every bit like his dad.

“Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!” the post caption reads.

Kate, who is passionate about photography, regularly takes portraits of her family members. Earlier in the year, she shared a candid photo she took of William and their kids, which she made public on Father’s Day.

“We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day G, C & L,” Kate captioned the photo shared on Kensington Palace’s social media accounts.

Kate also took a portrait of her younger children on their respective birthdays.

In April, when Prince Louis turned six, she shared an adorable image of the little boy lying on a grassy field in a blue outfit and smiling all rosy-cheeked at the camera.

And in May, when Princess Charlotte turned nine, Kate shared a lovely photo of the little princess leaning up against a flower bush in a garden, at the Wales’s Adelaide Cottage in Windsor Home Park, smiling candidly at the camera. She wore a raspberry cardigan over a navy sweater top layered over a frilly white and blue shirt and paired with a blue denim skirt and navy tights.
