This Savannah school ranks top-10 in Georgia, according to U.S. News & World Report
Savannah Arts Academy is one of the best high schools in the state, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report ranking.
While the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology took the No. 1 overall spot, Savannah Arts Academy earned the No. 8 ranking for best high schools. It also ranks No. 277 in national rankings.
The rankings, which only include public high schools, take into account metrics such as graduation rate, college preparedness, opportunity for Advanced Placement courses and state testing scores. To see the full methodology, go to the ranking's FAQ page.
Savannah Arts Academy was scored 98.43 out of a total 100 points possible.

The only other Savannah school to rank among the top 100 schools in Georgia is Woodville-Tompkins Technical and Career High School.
