Face Wash
What happens if Charlie leave his skincare essentials at home? "I'll just use Cetaphil from the Duane Reade," he says. "It's really really good."
So good in fact, that it landed the "best value facial cleanser" spot on the Good Housekeeping Institute's list of the best-tested skincare products of all time.
Cece Room Deodorant
"Smell is really important to me," says Charlie. "I travel a lot and I like every room to smell familiar. My friend Courtney [Cox] has a line and I love the Homecourt sprays." Available in five fragrances, this room deodorant claims to help reduce and neutralize odors with only two to three sprays.
Our experts agree: The Homecourt Steeped Rose Room Deodorant is the Good Housekeeping Institute's pick for the longest-lasting room spray.
Dr Pepper
Whether he's at home or on the road, Charlie has one classic beverage he can't live without. "I have a weird obsession with Dr Pepper," says Charlie. "I love Dr Pepper so much — any kind. One time in Asia, they gave me vanilla Dr Pepper and it blew my mind."
Professional Mini Keyboard
For Charlie, the music writing never stops. "When traveling, I love to have a little electric piano — not a super expensive one, just something I can plug into my computer and get an idea down quickly before I forget it," he says.
4-Color Ballpoint Pen
"I used the BIC pen last night to write music, because I am making an album," Charlie shares. "It's nice that there's multi-colored pens. If I don't like something, I scratch it out immediately with the red pen. It's much better than typing things down."

QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
Whether he's running in a hotel gym or listening to a rough draft, Charlie appreciates a great pair of headphones. "I love the Bose QuietComfort headphones because they're comfortable — I like anything that has noise-canceling to suck the world out," he adds.
