Stephen King is the latest personality to speak out in response to Donald Trump's most recent attack on Taylor Swift.

The master of horror took to X on the evening of Sunday, Sept. 15, hours after the former president posted "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!" on his Truth Social platform, as the site formerly known as Twitter rallied around the "Fearless" songstress with the hashtag #ILoveTaylorSwift.

The Shining author joined in on the trend, writing a direct and final message about the superstar. "I love Taylor Swift," he wrote, explaining, "Her music makes me happy."

"End of story," he concluded succinctly.

Trump's hateful comment came several days after Swift officially endorsed Kamala Harris for president, simultaneously denouncing Trump's use of AI-generated imagery in an apparent attempt to mislead the public into believing she endorsed him.

Mark Hamill also spoke up in the aftermath, flooding X with the aforementioned hashtag as he responded to Chiefs game day content, Swiftie's posts, and more in a wave of positivity.

Likewise, Bette Midler called the statement "dangerous" and "illegal," comparing the move to "putting out a hit on her."

"He wants his minions to do his dirty work, and you know they will," she continued. "If she is hurt, he will deny that he knows anything about it, as he always does, 'I don’t know, I haven’t heard.'"

She signed off with a strong word of advice for her fellow singer, suggesting that Swift "sue the diapers off him."

Swift hasn't responded to Trump's latest comment at her expense, though she was spotted laughing over a well-timed sign during the Chiefs vs. Bengals game later that day, which read, "We <3 our 'childless cat lady' and 87."
