Taylor Swift had an unusual galactic moment at last night's VMAs—and after the show ended, it appeared she wasn't quite done with the cosmic clothing.

The pop star wore two bold outfits during the ceremony: her first look featured a plaid corset gown by Dior, while her second look was a custom Monse mini dress that was covered in a sparkly depiction of aliens descending from a UFO. According to Monse, the image is "inspired by the iconic sci-fi films of the 1950s."

After the ceremony, Swift slipped into a third outfit that appeared to be a slightly different take on the Monse dress. This third look, which she wore to an after party at the Electric Lady Studio, featured the same cosmic scene that featured on her second dress—however, this time, the extra terrestrial image was printed on a corset-style top with harness straps and a matching mini pleated skirt. She also wore Monse's matching UFO Tapestry Boyfriend Jacket printed with the same image. She paired this Monse set with knee-high black leather platform boots. She also wore a structured cuff necklace and a shimmery, otherworldly smokey eye.

Swift is famous for hiding Easter eggs in her looks and, naturally, fans are convinced her two space-themed outfits have a hidden meaning. "SHE HAS UFO ON THE DRESS OMG DOWN BAD MUSIC VIDEO IS COMING OMG," one fan wrote on X, seemingly referencing the opening lyric of Swift's song "Down Bad," "Did you really beam me up?" Another wrote, "i'm so sorry she has a custom jacket with this utopian UFO theme too? congrats down bad for being the first sci-fi taylor swift music video."

Oddly enough, space seemed to be one of the main themes of the evening—Swift's two UFO looks were far from the only interstellar moments. During her performance of her song "Taste," Sabrina Carpenter made out with a literal alien. Meanwhile, Katy Perry also went a little galactic during her performance of "ET."

Swift took home seven awards at last night's VMAs, making her the most-awarded solo artist of all time.

While accepting the award for Video of the Year for "Fortnight," Swift gave a rare shoutout to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. "Everything that man touches turns into happiness and fun and magic and I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot," she gushed as the crowd cheered.

Swift and Kelce have been spending plenty of time together ever since Swift wrapped up the European leg of her Eras Tour. The pair were spotted relaxing with friends at Swift's Rhode Island mansion last month and this weekend, Swift supported Kelce in his first game of the NFL season. The couple were also seen attending a wedding, having a cute date night, and hanging out at the U.S. Open.
