Watch Comedian Iliza Shlesinger's Behind-the-Scenes Look at a Day on Tour

Iliza Shlesinger's current tour is called "Get Ready"—aptly named for someone who, it seems, is a real force of nature. The comedian, actress, author, podcaster, mother of two... we could go on... is blasting into cities across the country, bringing energetic sets rich with far-ranging characters to massive audiences who love her "Elder Millennial" take on life.

With six Netflix specials under her belt, two books—the most recent being 2022's All Things Aside (with an intro by Margaret Cho and cover blurb by Jimmy Kimmel)— movie roles with the likes of Mark Wahlberg, Rose Byrne and Shia Labeouf, and a weekly Q&A format podcast, Ask Iliza Anything, the 41-year-old Shlesinger is obviously ready for anything and everything. Oh, and that includes an upcoming Prime Video special, which she'll be taping at a November 2 tour date in Salt Lake City.

Parade caught up with Shlesinger to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into what a day in the life on tour looks like.
