What to Watch this week: The Emmys and VMAs, plus James McAvoy in “Speak No Evil”

Plus, the second half of "Emily in Paris" season 4, the season finale of "American Ninja Warrior," and more picks.

Shōgun has already broken the record for the most Emmys won by any series in one season thanks to the Creative Arts ceremony alone. How many more will it win at the 76th Emmys? Father and son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy host the celebration of TV's biggest night.

On MTV, Megan Thee Stallion oversees the proceedings for the 2024 VMAs. Plus, Shailene Woodley, Betty Gilpin, Gabrielle Creevy, DeWanda Wise, Blair Underwood, and more star on the series Three Women. While a new season of The Circle gets underway, American Ninja Warrior, The Wall, Naked & Afraid: Last One Standing, and Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles all wrap up their current seasons.

In theaters, James McAvoy and Mackenzie Davis star in Speak No Evil, a remake of the 2022 Danish horror film.
