YouTube Creator Samantha Jo is Pregnant: 'Not On My Bingo Card'

The 25-year-old creator shared the news that she is three months pregnant on her social media

Samantha Jo is pregnant!

The 25-year-old YouTube creator announced she and her boyfriend Jerryl are expecting their first baby together. She shared the news across her social media accounts on Thursday, Aug. 22, revealing she is currently three months pregnant and is due in February.

In a video posted to YouTube, Jo connected her absence from the platform “for the last month and a half” to the pregnancy, saying, “this was not on my bingo card."

"In fact, just a couple months ago, I was told I was not going to be able to have kids naturally," she added.

“I have always known that me having kids was going to be a long, lengthy process of IVF [in vitro fertilization] and lots of money,” Jo explained in the video. “I had mentally accepted that and now here we are.”

Jo mentioned that she felt relieved to finally share the news with her followers, saying she didn’t have to “hide anymore."

"I'm excited to not be hiding anymore. Truly, every time I tried to come on and film, it felt like I was hiding something from you guys," she continued. "And I guess I was. It's such a normal thing to hide in your first trimester, just because so many things can go wrong and it's a scary time."

Elsewhere in the video, Jo said the pregnancy was “a lot for me to process."

"My life’s about to change a lot and that is terrifying," she said.

Jo also explained that she was “so sick” during her first trimester but said she’s “starting to feel better” in her second trimester.

The internet personality also revealed that she got pregnant in the middle of her own weight loss journey and playfully called out “all of you that sent me memes about people getting pregnant on Ozempic, here we are.”

She also shared “a small glimpse into the past 3 months” on her Instagram and TikTok, which included clips of Jo showing off her three pregnancy tests to confirm she was pregnant and her emotional moments taking in the news.

In her Instagram caption, Jo wrote that she is "so excited for this season of life 💛."

"I guess now's the time to figure out how to be the best mom I can possibly be!" she continued. "Thank you to everyone in my life who has been so supportive the past few months, I wouldn't want life without you!"

Jo also shared a few reactions from her friends and family — including fellow TikTok star Tianna Robillard, who expressed her excitement about the news. Robillard also commented, “I’m so happy for you mama 😭😭😭” on Jo's video.

While Jo did not share her boyfriend Jerryl’s reaction, she explained in her Instagram comments that, “other than pictures here and there, we keep our relationship private now just to protect it from the internet ❤️ I’ll be sharing my journey though!”
