It's Week 2 of the Wisconsin prep football season and we've got details from Friday night's games in the Appleton and Green Bay areas and scores from throughout the state, plus a roundup of other prep sports Friday.

Freedom 45, Waupaca 15

WAUPACA - The Irish rushed and passed for a total of 379 yards and built a 38-0 halftime lead in the win over the Comets.

Drew Kortz led Freedom with 258 yards passing on 16 completions.

Teammate Aaron Hambel added 63 yards rushing on 11 carries.

Waupaca was led by Austin Adamczak, who rushed for 71 yards and passed for 141.

Westen Lauritzen caught five of Adamczak’s passes for 78 yards.

HORTONVILLE - Brock Weideman’s 2-yard touchdown run with 24 seconds left in the game lifted the Red Raiders to the win over the Polar Bears.

Pulaski ran the ball 23 times for minus-6 yards.

Ethan Schmidt led Pulaski with 212 yards passing while completing 18 of 34 passes.

Trevor Schuessler caught six of those passes for 83 yards.

Hortonville was led by AJ Pheifer, who rushed for 69 yards and completed 12 of 27 passes for 130 yards.

Levi Hebbe caught six of Pheifer’s passes for 79 yards and two touchdowns.

GREEN BAY - Sam Hemery ran for two touchdowns and passed for two touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to the victory.

Hemery had 12 rushes for 83 yards, including touchdown runs of 13 and 4 yards. He completed 8 of 13 passes for 142 yards, with touchdown receptions to Dakotah Montez of 3 yards and Ke Lor of 19 yards.

Luke Rissling added 99 yards rushing on 19 carries, with a 7-yard TD run.

Stoughton 14, Green Bay Southwest 12 (Thursday)

STOUGHTON - The Vikings scored touchdowns on passes from Drew Viney to LeShawn Brown and Reid Blackburn in the first and third quarters, respectively, and held off the Fighting Trojans.

Daniel Stevens completed 13 of 29 passes for 134 yards and an interception for Green Bay Southwest.

Ezra Krouth had 59 yards rushing on 21 carries.

Braxton Murphy caught four passes for 56 yards, Alec Thiel caught three passes for 49 yards and Dylan Collard hauled in five passes for 41 yards for Southwest.

Kaleb Langenberg scored Southwest’s touchdown on a 2-yard run.

Brillion 28, Southern Door 12 (Thursday)

BRUSSELS - Chase Thibodeau had two touchdown runs to lead the Lions, who outscored the Eagles 21-0 in the second half to rally for the win.

Thibodeau had a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter and a 5-yard TD run in the fourth quarter.

Brennen Kleist added a 14-yard TD run in the fourth quarter for Brillion.

Grant Weber ran for 62 yards and a touchdown for Southern Door and Drew Daoust completed 14 of 27 passes for 147 yards, with a 3-yard scoring pass to Lauden Berg.

Oconto Falls 35, Peshtigo 6 (Thursday)

OCONTO FALLS - The Panthers scored 22 points in the second quarter in their win over the Bulldogs.

Oconto Falls rushed for 231 yards on 31 carries against Peshtigo with Wyatt Laughrin leading the way with 129 yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries.

Isaac Bramer added 68 yards rushing on 14 carries for Oconto Falls.

With the ground game working so well, Oconto Falls only attempted five passes with Emerich Skarban completing three for 43 yards and a touchdown.

Cole Bozile, who scored on a 20-yard pass from Skarban and on a 48-yard fumble return, led Oconto Falls defensively with 12 tackles.

BOYS SOCCER

Pulaski 2, Appleton East 0

APPLETON - Maddox McKeefry scored at the 23rd minute and Riley Crocker added another goal at the 53rd minute to power the Red Raiders to the nonconference victory.

Hudson Schultz added an assist for Pulaski.

The Red Raiders outshot the Patriots 9-2. Henry Benz made seven saves in net for East, while Josh Roth made one save for Pulaski.

The Red Raiders are now 2-0-1, while the Patriots fall to 1-1-1.

Seymour 3, Luxemburg-Casco 1

SEYMOUR - Landon Huck and Marti Bach scored goals and the Thunder got a third goal on a Spartan own-goal as Seymour earned the nonconference win.

Logan Verrier added an assist for the Thunder.

Elvin Mendoza scored for Luxemburg-Casco on an assist from Rylen Hinckley.

Quentin Massart made two saves in net for the Spartans, while the Thunder made one save.

Luxemburg-Casco will be in action Tuesday at Wrightstown for its first North Eastern Conference game of the season.
