Nubbles is a very special cat. But he needs someone to see how great he is and bring him home ASAP. The cat is currently at Benton-Franklin Humane Society in Kennewick, Washington and now the shelter is hoping that someone will come take the cat home.

Video of Nubbles waiting by the door has gone viral online. All he wants is for someone to love him.

Nubbles has been at the shelter for 28 days. But for a shelter animal, 28 days can be an eternity. The poor cat's former owner had health issues and could no longer care for him. Now all he can do is hope that someone will find him at the shelter and want him to be their pet.

"POV you're visiting the animal shelter and see this cat staring at the door and waiting patiently for his family," the video's text overlay.

Commenters were pulling for Nubbles. They wanted him to find a new family — fast. "His owner is probably hurting having to make that decision too, it’s so sad," wrote one person. "Looks just like my boy. I can't imagine..." someone else added. "Boosting for Nubbles, the unconditional love of a cat is truly magical," a third person wrote. "Guys Oranges are the best cats. Someone give this baby a new home pleaseeeee," one commenter pointed out.
