Maren Morris reacts after onstage wardrobe malfunction

After accidentally going viral for an onstage wardrobe malfunction involving a denim skirt, Maren Morris is responding to the incident with her trademark good humor.

Morris appeared to show a little more than she intended when she wore a long denim skirt with a high slit while performing at Willie Nelson's Fourth of July picnic in New Jersey. While the performance happened July 4, videos of it went viral earlier this week.

The 34-year-old singer seemed unbothered in a video she shared in response to the incident. In a TikTok posted July 16, Morris posted a video with the caption reading "I think I’ll frame the skirt."

In the video itself, she jokingly rolled her eyes and looked confused under white text that read "hey guyz did anything weird happen today?!?!"

The tune "WAP" by Cardi B featuring Megan Thee Stallion plays in the background.

"Anyway stream Intermission 5/2," she concludes the video, referring to her five-song project, titled "Intermission," set to be released on Aug. 2.

In the comment section, Morris quipped that as a mom, nothing could embarrass her these days.

"Like, I’ve given birth. Nothing embarrasses me anymore," she commented.

Morris is mom to a 4-year-old son, Hayes, with her ex, musician Ryan Hurd. The two divorced in 2023 after five years of marriage. She came out as bisexual in a Pride post earlier this year.

Morris wore the same skirt from her Fourth of July performance before. She shared a selfie in it on May 19 .

"yeah, I guess that’s my church skirt," she wrote on the post, referencing her 2016 song, "My Church."

Immediately after the Fourth of July incident, Morris posted to her Instagram about getting to open for Nelson and Dylan. She initially made no mention of the wardrobe malfunction.

"played @willienelsonofficial's 4th of July picnic for the first time ever. got some free willie weed. saw @bobdylan finally," she wrote in the post. "i will reread this caption for decades to come or until instagram ceases to exist. life is not real."
