McDonald's Grimace, the big purple taste bud, joins holiday sweater crowd

It's time to add purple to Christmas colors.

Because Grimace is taking over the season.

McDonald's is unveiling a new holiday sweater featuring everyone's favorite giant blob. Grimace, who already celebrated 2023 with a milkshake in honor of his birthday as well as a pair of Crocs with his likeness, is now getting into the Christmas spirit.

If you're looking for an ugly sweater, however, you'll have to look elsewhere.

These beauties will be sold by McDonald's official store and are going for $65.

What is Grimace?

According to McDonald's, “Our timeless bestie has become a fan-favorite known for his signature fuzzy purple look, friendly and playful personality, love for shakes, and of course – ambiguous nature. What exactly is Grimace? Perhaps we’ll never know.”
