Tyler Huntley entered the 2020 NFL Draft, the same one the Dolphins took Tua Tagovailoa fifth overall. When he was not selected, he signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a free agent the same day the draft ended.

After spending most of his rookie season on the practice squad, Huntley joined the active roster on Dec. 2 after starting QB Lamar Jackson went on the COVID list. He would get his first game action on Dec. 20 late in the Ravens' blowout win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tyler Huntley has nine career starts and eight career touchdown passes. So how did he make the Pro Bowl after the 2022 season?

Huntley went in Week 13 after Lamar Jackson injured his knee and started the next four games, going 3-2 and allowing the Ravens to clinch a playoff berth. He was fine in those games, going 75 of 112 for 658 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions while running for 137 yards and another score. In the Ravens' playoff game at the Cincinnati Bengals, Huntley was 17 of 29 for 226 yards and two TDs with a pick. He also fumbled on a QB sneak, leading to a 98-yard touchdown return that decided the game.

After Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen dropped out of the Pro Bowl, Huntley shockingly was named his replacement. He was 48th in the NFL in passing yards and touchdowns, finishing behind such QBs as Teddy Bridgewater, Bailey Zappe and Gardner Minshew, who appeared in fewer games. Nevertheless, Huntley represented the AFC alongside the Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence and the Raiders' Derek Carr, who were replacing Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.
