Here’s a look at The Oklahoman’s 2024 All-City girls soccer first team.
Presley Boyd, Norman North
Class: Junior | Position: Forward
The story: Boyd’s role increased this year as Norman North made its fifth straight state finals appearance. The Tulsa commit finished the season with 28 goals and 16 assists.
Katie Johnston, Bishop McGuinness
Class: Junior | Position: Forward
The story: Johnston led McGuinness through its Class 6A debut, which culminated in a state quarterfinal appearance against Norman North. The Florida commit provided 32 goals and 11 assists.
Helen Olszewski, Casady
Class: Junior | Position: Forward
The story: Olszewski, a Virginia soccer commit, used her track-star speed to excel on the pitch. After recording 17 goals and 20 assists in district play, she helped the Cyclones advance to the Class 3A state finals.
Alix Regier, Yukon
Class: Senior | Position: Forward
The story: Regier fueled Yukon’s offense en route to the Class 6A state semifinals. The Kansas State signee stockpiled 31 goals and 24 assists, recording a hat trick against Tulsa Bishop Kelley in the first round of the state tournament.
Elle Canty, Community Christian
Class: Junior | Position: Midfielder
The story: As a team captain, Canty led Community Christian (16-1) to its first girls soccer state title. She accumulated 38 goals, including one in the finals against Casady, and added 12 assists. Canty is graduating early to play soccer at OU.
Narissa Fults, Norman North
Class: Senior | Position: Forward/Midfielder
The story: After receiving the Gatorade Oklahoma Player of the Year award as a junior, Fults returned to the Class 6A state finals with Norman North. With versatility as a scorer and facilitator, the Arizona signee had an assist in the championship match against Edmond North.
Rylee McLanahan, Edmond North
Class: Sophomore | Position: Forward/Midfielder
The story: McLanahan, a nationally recognized prospect, energized Edmond North (13-1) on the way to its first Class 6A state championship since 2011. Building on a breakout freshman year, she tallied 30 goals and 11 assists despite opponents double-teaming her.
Grace Due, Edmond North
Class: Senior | Position: Defender
The story: Due, an Oral Roberts signee, set the tone for an Edmond North defense that gave up only eight goals all season. The Huskies shut out nine opponents.
Adison Knocke, Deer Creek
Class: Senior | Position: Defender
The story: With Knocke’s leadership, Deer Creek had seven shutout wins. The Central Oklahoma signee helped the Antlers reach the Class 6A state semifinals against Edmond North.
Molly Shepherd, Casady
Class: Junior | Position: Defender
The story: Casady shut out 13 consecutive opponents to reach the Class 3A state championship match, and Shepherd played a key role. The Kansas commit also boosted the offense with the Cyclones’ lone goal in the finals against Community Christian.
Callie Sullivan, Norman North
Class: Junior | Position: Goalkeeper
The story: Sullivan commanded Norman North’s stout defense on the way to the Class 6A state finals. The OU commit finished the season with five clean sheets.
Coach of the Year: Ike Emegano, Edmond North
Emegano guided Edmond North to its first girls soccer state title since 2011 and his first as the Huskies’ head coach. He coached the team through a dominant season in which they outscored their opponents 76-8. In a rematch of the 2021 state finals, Edmond North flipped the result, surging past Norman North with a 2-1 win for the Class 6A crown.
