New Mexico State women's basketball: Aggies announce schedule for 2024-25 season

New Mexico State announced its full women's basketball schedule on Monday, including both non-conference and Conference USA games.

The Aggies will start their season on Nov. 4 with a road game against UC Irvine while their first home game takes place three days later against Utah Tech. NM State will be tested on Nov. 29 against 2024 Elite Eight representative Texas in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Fla., and will play two of West Virginia, Butler, Boise State, Santa Clara, High Point and Illinois State from Nov. 30-Dec. 1.

The Rio Grande Rivalry against New Mexico will be played twice in a home-and-home format in Albuquerque on Dec. 6 and Las Cruces on Dec. 8. Two road contests against power conference schools Kansas State and Oklahoma on Dec. 17 and Dec. 29, respectively, will take place before CUSA play opens on the road against Sam Houston on Jan. 2. CUSA play will last until March 8 with a home game against Sam Houston before the CUSA Tournament begins on March 11 in Huntsville, Ala.

NM State will enter its second season under coach Jody Adams after going 13-17 (6-10 CUSA) last season. The Aggies will look for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2019.
