Missouri State football vs Lindenwood updates: Live score, highlights from Week 3 game

Missouri State football will finally open its 2024 home slate when it plays in-state rival Lindenwood for the first time in program history on Saturday evening at Plaster Stadium.

The 6 p.m. kickoff will see the Bears (0-2) try to put a full game together when they've had opportunities to beat a top-ranked FCS program and an FBS team through the first two weeks, only to hurt themselves in the end.

Lindenwood has faced top 25 FCS and FBS teams through its first two weeks and hasn't been competitive. The Lions are in their third year as a Division I FCS program.
