Monday Seacoast roundup: Forman hat trick sparks STA boys; Exeter field hockey beats Dover

DOVER - Angus Forman's three goals led the St. Thomas Aquinas boys soccer team to a 10-0 win over Berlin on Monday in a Division III game.

Forman was one of seven different goal-scorers for the Saints, who improved to 1-2 on the season.

Aaron Hughes added two goals for the Saints, while Ryan Resch, Will Hughes, Ryan Dyer, Conall Ciaschini, and Jacob Murphy all had one.

Aaron Page added three assists for the Saints, while Will Hughes had two. Bn Puertas had two saves, earning the shutout.

KITTERY, Maine - Finn Cleary had two goals and one assist, and Remmick Matty and Curran Cleary both had one goal for Traip Academy in its Class C South season opener.

Maliki Matty added two assists for the Rangers, while goalie Jack Downs had two saves.

BERLIN - Maia Scanlon had a team-high four goals and one assist as the Saints improved to 2-0 with this Division III win.

Scarlet Derry and Mallory Baker each had a goal and an assist for the Saints, while Charlotte De Tolla had a goal and Audrey Hanmaker had an assist.

EXETER - Dani Caron, Olivia Levitsky and Emilee Butenas all had a goal and one assist for Exeter in its win over the Division I defending state champions.

Elsa Bishop also scored and Poppy Schaffer shined for the Blue Hawks, who led 3-0 at halftime.

Erin Lynch had two goals and Leyden Churchill had one goal and one assist for Dover. Gaby Anderson had an assist for the Green Wave, while goalie Scarlett Gray had six saves.

HAMPTON - Amber Morgado had 10 saves and freshman Mary Kouloheras played well for Winnacunnet (3-1) in this Division I loss.

HUDSON - Emily Pitfick had 12 assists, Sydney Heestand had nine kills, a dig and an ace, and CC Hersey had 15 assists, one dig and one ace to lead Winnacunnet (1-2) in this Division I win.

Individual set scores were 25-20, 25-16, 27-25.

GOLF

Dover wins three-team match

MANCHESTER - Senior Carys Fennessy shot a medalist round of 2-over-par 36, and Tyler Buchanan shot a 39 as Dover won a three-team match at Derryfield County Club.

Dover had a team score of 195, while Windham (196) and Manchester Central (210) placed second and third, respectively.

Ben Zbikowski, Des Fennessy and Sam MacGregor all shot a 4-over-par 40 for the Green Wave.

Exeter wins four-team meet

CONCORD - Jascha Johnston's 3-over-par 37 led Exeter to a four-team win at Concord Country Club.

Exeter had a team score of 192, beating Concord (193), Pinkerton (209) and Merrimack (227).

Burke Degen shot a 38 for the Blue Hawks, and Jack Harrington had a 39.

York sweeps three-team match

YORK, Maine - Ryan Cummins shot a 2-over-par 37, and teammates TJ Reagan and Riley Butters shot a 38 and 39, respectively in a three-team sweep at York Golf and Tennis. York is now 5-0 on the season.

York had a season-best team score of 156, beating St. Dominic's (178) and Old Orchard Beach (216). Bancroft Potter completed the York scoring with a 42.
