Monroe couple celebrating 60th anniversary

MONROE — Kenneth and Elizabeth (Judy) Morgan of Monroe are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today.

Mr. Morgan married Elizabeth Czinki June 13, 1964, at First Hungarian Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Julius Asbish officiated.

The Morgans have two children, Ron and Tina; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Another great-grandchild is on the way.

Mr. Morgan worked as a lineman for Detroit Edison, retiring in 2002. He served in the Air Force from 1962-66 and is a 1962 graduate of Monroe High School. He also attended Monroe County Community College.

Mrs. Morgan is a 1960 graduate of Western High School, Detroit. She is a homemaker.
