The Morning Show Adds Narcos’ Boyd Holbrook as Joe Rogan-esque Podcaster in Season 4

The Morning Show is looking to disrupt mainstream media in Season 4.

Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) will play Brodie, a “popular and provocative” podcaster and talk-show host, in the upcoming season, TVLine has learned. (We’re thinking along the lines of Joe Rogan, Russell Brand… you know the type.)

In addition to playing DEA agent Steve Murphy in Narcos Seasons 1 and 2, Holbrook’s TV work includes The Sandman, The Big C, Hatfields & McCoys and Justified: City Primeval.

Earlier in July, TVLine exclusively reported that Rachel Marsh (Unstable) will recur as Alex’s assistant, Remy, and John Hoogenakker (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) will recur as FBI agent named Andy. They join a Season 4 ensemble that includes — in addition to returning series regulars like Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon — William Harper Jackson (The Good Place) as Ben, the network’s head of sports; including Jeremy Irons (Watchmen) as Alex’s father, Martin Levy; and Marion Cotillard (La Vie en Rose) as Celine Dumont, a “savvy operator from a storied European family.” The series — which recently racked up a significant number of 2024 Emmy nominations — does not yet have a Season 4 premiere date.
