Christophe Zajac-Denek, a metro Detroit native with a multitude of talents, will be guest-hosting “Live in the D” this week.

Zajac-Denek recently starred in “Sasquatch Sunset,” which is available for streaming. The 4-foot-4 character actor played a young Bigfoot opposite Jesse Eisenberg (“The Social Network”) and Riley Keough (“Daisy Jones & the Six” miniseries), who also wore full costumes that transformed them into Sasquatches.

In April, he appeared at the Freep Film Festival for screenings of the 10-minute documentary “Standing on Water.” It explores his experiences as someone born with a rare form of dwarfism and the confidence he has gained from his passion for surfing.

In addition to his guest-hosting duties, Zajac-Denek says he’ll be playing music on “Live in the D.” He’s familiar to the Detroit music scene for his stint during the 2000s as drummer for the rock band the Hard Lessons.

“Live in the D” also is available to stream on Local 4+.
