Nev Schulman's Kids: All About Cleo, Beau and Cy

Nev Schulman and his wife, Laura Perlongo, love having fun with their kids: Cleo, Beau and Cy.

A few months before marrying, the couple welcomed their daughter, Cleo, in October 2016. Over two years later, Nev and Laura had their son Beau in January 2019, and their son, Cy, followed in September 2021. (Laura later shared she had a miscarriage in 2023 on Instagram.)

As their family has grown, Nev has learned to shift his mindset, especially while going through their daily routines. “They really teach you to be open to the humor in everyday situations," he told Morning Honey.

The Catfish: The TV Show host continued, “They are so goofy and funny and silly, and it just gives you an excuse to be silly and that is fun, so I love that."

It seems like he continues to embrace this perspective: Nev shared a similar sentiment shortly after he and his wife welcomed their first child together.

“Becoming a father has unlocked an entirely new part of who I am and challenged me to continue to become the man I aspire to be," the TV personality wrote on Facebook in 2017. "It can be difficult and uncomfortable at times, but every day is a chance to learn and grow, and the reward is far greater than anything you could ever imagine.”

Cleo James Schulman, 7

Nev and Laura welcomed their daughter Cleo James Schulman on Oct. 21, 2016.

The MTV star shared the news on Instagram with a photo of himself holding the newborn. "Best. Thing. Ever. Cleo James arrived at 6:01 am weighing 6lbs 10oz," he wrote.

Nev and Laura announced they were expecting their first child together in May 2016, two weeks before they announced their engagement. Laura wrote on Instagram, “I ate a big sandwich and it has a heartbeat. Completely head over heels in love and excited to announce Nev and I are bringing a new bb person into the world.”

In his own post, Nev wrote, “IT’S A GIRL! No words can capture the excitement and joy I feel about becoming a father.”

Before he married Laura in July 2017, Nev announced their upcoming wedding on X (formerly Twitter) by posting a photo of himself in a tuxedo with his daughter by his feet. “Is Cleo the cutest baby ever? Yup!” Nev wrote in the caption. A week later, she served as a flower girl in her parents' ceremony.

When Cleo was 2, she took an interest in art, and her parents created an Instagram account to post her work on. The following year, she became enamored with dancing after her father appeared on season 29 of Dancing with the Stars in 2020.

Nev told PEOPLE that she was “obsessed” with the show, and added, “[She] loves telling people I was on it and asking when I'm going to be on it again. We also got her in ballet class, which she loves.”

Beyond his run on the competition show, Cleo has also been involved in Nev's other career ventures. When she was 4, she even appeared on an episode of Catfish alongside her father.

Beau Bobby Bruce Schulman, 5

Nev and Laura welcomed their son Beau Bobby Bruce on Jan. 9, 2019.

The following day, Nev announced the news on Instagram, writing, “Beau Bobby Bruce has arrived! A little perfect ray of son-shine. 7lbs 15oz. Beau & Laura are all giggles and snuggles and we couldn’t be happier."

At the time, Nev’s rep told PEOPLE that the names Beau and Bobby were chosen to honor Nev’s father, while Bruce paid tribute to Laura’s dad.

On Beau’s fifth birthday in 2024, Laura posted a series of photos of him on Instagram, calling her son her “little bestie” and a wise soul.

“No one makes me laugh harder with their artistic efforts to circumvent the ‘no candy for breakfast’ universal standard," she continued. "He might be 5 but he’s an old man.”

Beau seems to be close to his big sister, too. While speaking to Morning Honey in 2022, Nev shared a heartfelt glimpse of their sibling bond.

“I woke up ... and then I slowly opened our door and I heard [Cleo and Beau] playing and having the most fun giggling together, so I didn’t say anything," he said. "I just closed my door and went back in bed and hung out until they decided [they] want to see us. There are a lot of sweet moments."

Cy Monroe Schulman, 2

Nev and Laura welcomed their son Cy Monroe on Sept. 25, 2021.

To announce his arrival, Laura posted a photo of herself with him in her arms alongside the caption, “Nothin’ like it,” while Nev posted a video of himself kissing Cy and wrote, “Happy birthday little man.”

After revealing their pregnancy on Instagram in April 2021, Nev told PEOPLE that Cleo was hoping for a sister, but “we very quickly convinced her that it was best [to be the only girl] because then she gets to be the only princess.”

He also opened up about having a third child. “Every kid you have, it feels like you're leveling up and facing a new boss in the video game of parenting. And sure, you've got experience, but every boss is different," he explained.

Although Cy is the youngest family member, it doesn't mean he can't keep up with his older siblings. When he turned 2, Laura posted a video compilation of Cy, noting that he's growing fast. A look at her Instagram feed also shows him having fun with Cleo and Bleu at home and during the holidays.
