Music for all
The Center for Ageless Living is hosting a free August Music Series every Saturday through the month. The concert series kicks off 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, with Isaic Duran & Last Minute, at Community Park, 5 Thomas Road in Los Lunas. For an additional fee, lunch will be served by the Green House Bistro & Bakery.
Celebrating 30 years
The Corrales Bosque Gallery is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a show of former and current members. The show opens Wednesday, Aug. 7, and runs through Sept. 2. The gallery is open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday through Monday, and is located at 4685 Corrales Road in Corrales.
They're all weiners
Bernalillo Feed and Chevron are hosting an afternoon for the dogs from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, with "Weanie Dog Races." Hot dogs, of course, will be available for purchase, with sales benefiting the Sandoval County Animal Shelter. The shelter will also have adoptable dogs on site. Bernalillo Feed and Chevron are located at 656 Camino del Pueblo in Bernalillo.

NDI New Mexico is hosting a Community Day from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Enjoy games, performances, arts and crafts vendors, and more. The Hiland Theater is located at 4800 Central Ave. SE.
Neighborhood camaraderie
The 2024 National Night Out is a chance to get to know your neighbors and local law enforcement. On Tuesday, Aug. 6, cities and neighborhoods around New Mexico will get together for a night of community. For those living in Albuquerque, visit cabq.gov/national-night-out to find an event near you.
50 years of music
Grammy Award-winning artists Asleep at the Wheel are coming to the KiMo Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. Tickets run $37-$54 at artsandculture.cabq.gov. The KiMo is located at 423 Central Ave. NW.
What's on deck
The North Domingo Baca Skate Park is hosting a free Olympic skateboarding viewing party from 8-11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. Food trucks will be on site for those wanting to buy a brunch nibble. The skate park is located at 8301 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
