Fulton County Sheriff's Office Back-to-School Giveaway
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 13
Where: The Villages at Carver Family YMCA, Atlanta
What: A giveaway event offering school supplies to students in need. There will also be live entertainment and food.
Shoot Hoops Not Guns Back-2-School Bash
When: 1 p.m. July 19

What: A community event focusing on violence prevention, featuring basketball activities and school supply giveaways.
Atlanta Public Schools Back-to-School Bash

Shoesday Giveaway
When: 6 to 10 a.m. July 23
Where: Will be announced on July 22
What: 1-800-TruckWreck, powered by Witherite Law Group, is partnering with KISS 104.1 FM, Atlanta’s R&B station, to host a free back-to-school "Shoesday" giveaway. Designed to provide new shoes to school-aged youth as they return to school. The first 200 families will receive one $100 gift card that can be used to purchase new shoes.
Oakland City Back-to-School Giveaway

Clayton County Stuff The Bus & Block Party
What: Clayton County officials are hosting a Stuff The Bus event and free block party at Walmart. There will be a live DJ, food trucks, gaming tents, bounce houses, free samples from vendors and a visit from Tony The Tiger. Walmart's wellness center will provide free blood pressure screenings and the barbershop will give free haircuts.

Stuff the Bus
When: Until July 17
What: Douglas County Government and Connect Douglas Transportation are accepting donations for
students at 14 locations around Douglas County. Needed supplies include backpacks, crayons, markers, pens, pencils, notebooks, and travel-size toiletries.
Lenox Square School Supplies Drive
What: Lenox Square and Sarah Smith Elementary School are tearming up for a school supplies drive. Donation boxes can be found throughout Lenox Square. They are collecting full-size backpacks, Kleenex boxes, Clorox wipes, 12-pack Crayola colored pencils, 24-pack Crayola crayons, 12-pack Crayola washable markers, No. 2 pencils and glue sticks.
