Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez has filed for divorce from Massachusetts notable and actor Ben Affleck.
The two movie stars have had an on-and-off relationship spanning two decades. They first began dating on the set of the film "Gigli" in 2002 and then calling off their initial engagement in 2004 before getting back together nearly 20 years later and getting married in 2022.
According to a report by TMZ, Lopez filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday, listing the date of separation as April 26, 2024.
Will they ever get back together? We don't know. However, they had a deep connection to Massachusetts through Affleck. Here's a look at some of their main moments in the Bay State.

Ben Affleck proposed to Jennifer Lopez in Massachusetts
Affleck, according to this 2002 ABC news archived story, proposed to Lopez in his family's home in Boston the first time they got engaged.
Lopez said in the story that the house's interior was covered with rose petals, her then-recently released song "I'm Glad" was playing and there was a letter by Affleck detailing all the reasons he loved her and why he wanted to marry her.

It's no secret that Affleck loves his Boston sports teams. In October 2003, the pair was spotted at a Red Sox game during their engagement.

According to Eater Boston, Lopez and Affleck ate out with their respective children at the Cambridge eatery Bar Enza in spring of 2023.
Apparently, the then-Affleck family ordered steak, focaccia, antipasti, pasta and several Diet Cokes, the report said.
Also, unsurprisingly, Affleck loves Dunkin' Donuts, as he used the Medford Dunkin' drive-thru for his 2023 Super Bowl commercial. Speaking of which.

Who could forget the cultural crowning achievement of the 2024 Super Bowl: The Dunkin' ad starring Affleck, Lopez, Matt Damon and Tom Brady with a cameo by rapper Jack Harlow.
The ad consisted of Affleck surprising his wife at her recording studio with a flamboyant display of love for Dunkin' Donuts including branded tracksuits and a "DunKings" song and dance done by the former Batman actor, all while Lopez looks on disapprovingly.
Out of the ad came the limited menu item, the DunKings Iced Coffee and the DunKings MUNCHKINS® Skewers, according to the Dunkin' webpage on the commercial.
