Catherine Zeta-Jones’ birthday present for husband Michael Douglas left little to the imagination.
The “Entrapment” actor — or should it be “thirst entrapment” actor? — posted a naked black-and-white photo of herself on Instagram on Sept. 25 in honor of her joint birthday with the “Basic Instinct” star.
In the shot, she stands over a bathroom sink, hands holding the vanity while she peers straight ahead wearing nothing but high heels. Her long legs are fully visible, while her right arm covers her chest and light shines on her backside.
“In my birthday suit! After over 25 years of sharing my birthday day with my husband, I am running out of gift ideas! This is gift option two, golf balls being option one… of course,” she captioned the photo with a crying-laughing emoji.
Zeta-Jones turned 55 on Sept. 25, the same day her Oscar-winning husband turned 80. Her post generated quite the reaction in the comments.
“Let’s be fair if Catherine looks like that NOW, every day is a birthday for Michael!” someone marveled.
“Happy Birthday 🎊🎂✨️🍾🥂 Absolutely stunning,” another person wrote, adding a fire emoji to the end of the comment.
“Listen if my body looks like this at her age, I’m gonna post all the nudes and not give a flying fig about what any of yall think,” someone else raved.
Zeta-Jones also honored the mutual birthdays with a tamer throwback photo on Instagram in which Douglas stands behind Zeta-Jones and leans over to plant a smooch on her.
“Happy Birthday to Michael and to me!! This was us on our birthday 25 years ago! I love you with all my heart,” she captioned the picture.
Douglas returned the favor with his own birthday post in honor of his wife’s big day.
“To my birthday sister, I love you with all my heart! May your new year be the best! @catherinezetajones,” he captioned a black-and-white photo of her.
“Thank you sweetheart!!!” Zeta-Jones wrote in the comments with party popper emoji.
The couple married in a high-profile glitzy wedding in 2000 in New York City. They are the parents of two children, Dylan, 24, and Carys, 21. Douglas also shares 45-year-old Cameron Douglas with his ex-wife, Diandra Luker.
After Carys graduated high school, Douglas said he and Zeta-Jones had started a new journey together as a couple.
“It’s scary. It really is. You look at each other and go, ‘Well, it’s just you and me, babe,’” he told TODAY in 2021.
“You forget how many conversations you sort of hide behind in terms of talking about your kids and what’s going on next and that and one day you just look at each other. But we’re 20 years now, so all those good years of paying attention to each other are paying off now.”
