Construction is underway on eight major Corpus Christi streets. Here's when it will end

Construction on eight major streets in Corpus Christi will be complete soon, City Manager Peter Zanoni told City Council on Tuesday.

The eight Capital Improvement Projects were approved by voters in a previous bond program and have a combined value of almost $72 million, a news release from the city stated.

"The city's economic growth is proportionate to our infrastructure growth and improvement," Mayor Paulette Guajardo said. "With resident support, these bond projects were approved and through exceptional management and leadership, these eight street projects are now under construction as we continue this new era of progress."
