Harris to campaign in NH Wednesday

Sep. 2—Vice President Kamala Harris, who accepted the Democratic nomination for president last month, is expected to campaign in New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Harris is scheduled to travel to the "Greater Portsmouth area" for a campaign event, according to a news release.

No further details were immediately available.

This will be Harris's first time in New Hampshire since an official White House visit in 2021 in support of the Biden administration's America Jobs Plan, which included efforts to extend broadband of rural communities and provide workforce training opportunities.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker stumped for Harris over the weekend, including a canvassing kickoff in Bedford. During his trip, he highlighted Harris's work to bringing down the cost of housing and prescription drugs.
