High school football: Any big movers following Week 1 games in The Bee’s rankings?
Clovis North remains The Fresno Bee top-ranked high school football team following Week 1.
The Broncos blanked San Joaquin Memorial 24-0 in the season opener for both teams.
Only one team moved up in the top 10 and that would be Clovis West which edged out Edison-Huntington Beach 29-28 in the final seconds at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Golden Eagles is No. 9, but couldn’t pass other teams in the top 10 because other teams before won its games.
Lemoore moved to No. 10 following a 41-15 victory over Monache.
Independence debuts in The Bee’s rankings at No. 25.
