'Jeopardy!' fans' prayers were answered when this 'hot priest' competed on the game show

"Jeopardy!" fans can't stop raving over contestant Father Steve Jakubowski.

The internet dubbed him "hot priest" after he appeared on the game show on Sept. 19. in his black outfit and clerical collar, occasionally looking at the camera and smiling.

While he ultimately lost to fellow contestant Jen Feldman, who also bested reigning champ Chris Lindsay on the program, Jakubowski still left a lasting impression on viewers.

On X, many social media users said that they wouldn't mind seeing Jakubowski on the game show again.

"@Jeopardy immediately bring back Father Steve for ‘Second Chance,'" one X user wrote.

Another said, "I am an atheist but I would def consider becoming a Catholic for Father Steve..... #jeopardy."

A third added, "Whoever u are father steve, you’re waaaaaaay too hot to have joined the priesthood!!!! hot girl down fr."

A fourth wrote, "Father Steve is so handsome on @Jeopardy tonight!"

Several fans also referred to Jakubowski as "hot priest" that seems to be referencing the TV drama "Fleabag," which is about a woman who tries to cope with tragedy in London. In the show, Andrew Scott plays the role of a priest, who has been famously dubbed in pop culture as "Hot Priest."

While it's not clear whether Jakubowski will appear on "Jeopardy!" again, fans have a new spinoff to look forward to called "Pop Culture Jeopardy!" The show will mainly focus on pop culture, and this time, contestants will get the opportunity to compete in teams of three instead of individually.

"Pop Culture Jeopardy!" is set to air on Prime Video, and a premiere date has yet to be announced.
