Jerome Tang has added a new player to the Kansas State men’s basketball roster.

Spencer Bain, a 6-foot-2 and 190-pound senior guard who grew up in Overland Park, will help the Wildcats as a walk-on during the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Bain is a product of Blue Valley West High School. He also played 113 games for Flagler College, a Division II team located in St. Augustine, Florida. While there, he scored nearly 500 points and helped the Saints win 74 games as they twice reached the Division II postseason tournament.

His best season at Flagler came as a junior when he averaged five points, two rebounds and two assists in 22.8 minutes per game. He scored his career-high 16 points against Columbus State.

At Blue Valley West, he earned both all-state and all-conference honors.

Bain will have one season of eligibility remaining as he works to help a rebuilt K-State basketball roster that features only three returning players from a team that won 19 games and reached the NIT a season ago.
