Jersey woman cycles 1,000km through Europe
A Jersey woman has cycled more than 1,000 km (621 miles) through three countries to raise money for charity.
Sara Felton, who has only been riding a road bike for three years, followed the route of the eight women's stages of the Tour de France as part of the trip earlier this month.
Her and six other women cycled through Holland, Belgium to France over one week averaging between five and nine hours on their bikes each day.
So far Ms Felton has raised more than £4,000 for Cure Leukaemia.
Ms Felton said it was "the first of many" cycling challenges she planned to take on.
She said: "I think bonkers is the way most people have described it, for me it was really about the personal challenge.
"It has become a huge part of my life... it's become such a passion and something I'm so passionate about that I wanted a challenge."
Ms Felton said padded shorts were "the best thing you will ever buy" if embarking on such a long adventure.
"It's all well and good riding your bike but Jersey's quite little, you can ride around it quite quickly but it was taking on something like this, it's an iconic race."
