Krispy Kreme is bringing back a fan favorite, but not for long.

The pumpkin spice cake doughnut returns to bakery cases on Monday, Aug. 12, at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide for a limited time, according to the North Carolina-based coffee and doughnut chain.

The treat is one of Krispy Kreme’s “most anticipated seasonal offerings,” featuring a glazed old-fashioned doughnut with a blend of “crumbly cake and pumpkin spice flavor,” the company said.

Customers can wash it down with a pumpkin spice latte, also available starting Aug. 12.

“It’s August and we’re all ready for pumpkin spice, somehow,” Dave Skena, global chief brand officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a news release. “Our fans want their Krispy Kreme pumpkin spice cake doughnut and latte right now, and we’re here for it.”

The pumpkin spice cake doughnut is available in-store and online, the release said. Customers can purchase the treat individually, or as part of a specialty dozen.

Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
