Lent brings bounty of fish, chicken, pierogi, macaroni and cheese, more to a hall near you
While all traditional Lenten fish dinners are different and unique to their organizers, such as churches and firefighting companies, they all have one thing in common this year: While there's no shortage of fish, meal planners are paying more for it than they ever have.
Every organization we know about that hosts Lenten dinners raised prices this year to cover the extra cost, holding out hope that the annual fundraising events are worth their time and effort this year.
