Earlier this week, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said he loves to play at SoFi Stadium, which is home to the Chargers.

Mahomes talked about the atmosphere at the stadium and how well Chiefs fans travel to those road games. Perhaps the large number of Chiefs fans make Mahomes feel at home at SoFi, because he’s put up big numbers in the building.

In three games, Mahomes has completed 82 of 124 passes for 1,041 yards with eight touchdowns and one interception. The Chiefs have won those three games and are 4-0 all-time at So Fi Stadium.

Can Mahomes and the Chiefs continue that dominance? Here is who 75 experts are picking in Sunday’s Chiefs-Chargers contest. Kickoff is at 3:25 p.m. and the game airs on KCTV (Ch. 5).

A 27-17 Chiefs win is the prediction from the Associated Press’ Rob Maaddi. Here is an excerpt from his story: “Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs (3-0) are unbeaten despite playing inconsistent ball. Jim Harbaugh’s first crack at the two-time defending Super Bowl champions is spoiled by Herbert’s uncertainty and the absence of suspended safety Derwin James.”

Going with the Chiefs are all seven USA Today writers: Jarrett Bell (27-24 final score), Chris Bumbaca (16-7), Nate Davis (27-16), Tyler Dragon (27-17), Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz (26-13), Lorenzo Reyes (23-13) and Jordan Mendoza (20-10). This is what Mendoza wrote: “The Chiefs have found a way in every game thus far and they do it again in Southern California. Justin Herbert’s health plays a big factor in the Chargers’ chances.”

A 24-19 Chiefs victory is the call from the Sporting News’ Bill Bender. Here is an excerpt of what he wrote: “What does Jim Harbaugh add to the Chiefs-Chargers’ rivalry? Los Angeles will try to slow down the Kansas City offense with the running game, which was ineffective in Week 3 against the Steelers. Justin Herbert (ankle) will hopefully be healthier here, and the Chiefs have been scraping by with one-score victories each week. The Chiefs have a -2 turnover ratio. The Chargers are at -3. Los Angeles could pull off an upset here, but we will settle for a close game.”

The Chiefs will win 28-21, says Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times. He wrote: “The Chargers are going to be solid this season, but holding serve against the Chiefs — without suspended Derwin James — is a tall order. Andy Reid will take advantage of that defensive void in the middle of the field.”

Picking the Chiefs are all eight writers at the Athletic: Austin Mock, Zac Jackson, Tashan Reed, Nick Kosmider, Larry Holder, Josiah Turner, Michael-Shawn Dugar and Josh Kendall. Here is a passage from the story: “The top games for this week include an AFC West matchup of Patrick Mahomes and his undefeated Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Los Angeles Chargers. The chess match between Jim Harbaugh and Andy Reid should be epic.”

Taking the Chiefs are all five writers at NFL.com: Ali Bhanpuri (23-15 final score), Brooke Cersosimo (30-17), Dan Parr (24-14), Gennaro Filice (26-13) and Tom Blair (25-15). This is a snippet of what Cersosimo wrote: “Patrick Mahomes vs. Justin Herbert often presents one of the most exhilarating games of the week. Unfortunately, the Chargers QB is dealing with an ankle injury that led to an early exit last week and has his status for Sunday up in the air. He (or Taylor Heinicke) will also be without both starting offensive tackles (Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater), likely leading Jim Harbaugh’s team to being even more one-dimensional with the run game.”

The Chiefs are the pick for all eight writers at CBS Sports: Pete Prisco, Will Brinson, Jared Dubin, Ryan Wilson, Tyler Sullivan, Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg and John Breech. Prisco predicted a 23-20 score. This is from his story: “The status of Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert bears watching in this one. If he plays, the Chargers have a chance to win. If he doesn’t, I still think they keep it close. The Chiefs are playing consecutive road games and they haven’t looked as crisp this season.”

The Chiefs will win, say the six Sports Illustrated writers: Albert Breer, Connor Orr, Mitch Goldich, Matt Verderame, Gilberto Manzano and John Pluym.

The Chiefs are the pick for the seven SB Nation writers: James Dator, David Fucillo, Jeanna Kelly, Brandon Lee Bowton, RJ Ochoa, Matt Warren and Mark Schofield.

The Chiefs will win, say Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio (24-22 final score) and Chris Simms (23-20).

The Chiefs are the pick for each of 11 ESPN experts: Stephania Bell, Matt Bowen, Mike Clay, Dan Graziano, Jeremy Fowler, Kalyn Kahler, Kimberly Martin, Moses Moody, Jason Reid, Lindsey Thiry and Seth Wickersham.

The Chiefs will win, say all 10 Dallas Morning-News members: Tim Cowlishaw, Joey Hayden, Dana Larson, Damon Marx, Craig Miller, David Moore, Abraham Nudelstejer, Newy Scruggs, Kevin Sherrington and Calvin Watkins.

Taking the Chiefs are the eight writers at A to Z Sports: Destin Adams, Wendell Ferreira, Charles Goldman, Brandon Little, Travis May, Mike Payton, Mauricio Rodriguez and John Sheeran.
