Police plea to trace missing teenage hillwalker
Police are appealing for information to try to help trace a missing 18-year-old believed to have gone walking in the Eildon Hills.
Kamile Gimbutyte, also known as Rhian, was last seen in the Melrose area at about 14:00 on Sunday.
The teenager has been described as being about 5ft 4in (1.63m) tall, of medium build, with short dark hair.
When last seen the walker was wearing a striped, navy blue hooded top, blue trousers and was carrying a navy backpack.
Insp David Robertson said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Kamile's welfare and efforts are ongoing to trace them.
"I am appealing to anyone who has seen Kamile or who has any information on their whereabouts to contact us."
