Residents lose power as firefighters tackle blaze

Some residents in an area of Kent were left without power as firefighters tackled a blaze overnight.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the incident involving three workshop buildings in Burmarsh Road, Burmarsh, at about 03:50 BST on Saturday.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene and no injuries were reported.

UK Power Networks said services were restored to the small number of impacted residents in the CT21 4 and the TN29 0 postcodes at 09:00.
