Travis Kelce fanboys over meeting Julia Roberts and Stevie Nicks at 'Eras Tour'

Travis Kelce is recalling his recent encounter with Academy Award winner Julia Roberts.

On the July 3rd episode of his "New Heights" podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said he met Roberts while at girlfriend Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" when she was performing in Europe.

"Yeah, I met Julia Roberts in Dublin, Ireland," he said. "That was pretty cool."

While talking to his brother Jason Kelce, who announced in March that he'll be retiring from football, Travis Kelce said he also had the opportunity to meet Stevie Nicks.

"Her and Stevie Nicks were in there having some fun," he said, referring to Roberts' interaction with the singer.

"You might be the only one in the family who hasn't met her yet," he told his brother of Nicks. "Mom got to meet her down in Florida... I mean, she's every bit of what everyone makes her out to be. She's just so awesome ... and just love to see her support and just meet her."

"You know, some of these people you meet and you're like, 'I don't know what I'm doing here,'" he continued. "You are unbelievable. You're talent is unbelievable. How you present yourself is unbelievable and I am just a jamoke supporting his girlfriend, and it's just so much fun."

On June 23, Travis Kelce made his onstage debut at Swift’s “Eras Tour” at London’s Wembley Stadium when he participated in a pantomime sketch with Swift and her dancers.

When asked how his surprise appearance came to be, Travis Kelce told Jason Kelce on "New Heights" that he was the one who came up with the idea to join Swift on stage.

“I initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the ‘1989’ (portion of the show),’” he said.

“She started laughing,” he said of her response.

“Sure enough, she found the perfect, perfect part of the show for me to come in," Travis Kelce explained. "There was no bike in case I ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was the safest option."
