Dolphins running backs Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane are nursing injuries and would have been unable to practice on Monday, leaving their availability in question for Thursday’s game against visiting Buffalo (8:20 p.m., CBS-4, Amazon).

The Dolphins did not practice on Monday but in their required injury report, they said that Mostert (chest injury), Achane (ankle injury) and receiver Malik Washington (quadriceps) would not have practiced.

Achane limped off after catching a 10-yard pass, with 1:18 left, on the Dolphins’ game-winning drive. Mostert appeared in discomfort earlier in the game.

The Dolphins typically announce when a player leaves a game due to injury, and they did not in the case of Achane and Mostert. So this could have been a case of their injuries becoming more of an issue on Monday.

If one or both is unable to play on Thursday, then running back Jaylen Wright likely would play. Wright was inactive for Sunday’s opener but does not have an injury, according to the team.

Jeff Wilson Jr., who ran five times for 26 yards in Sunday’s game, also is healthy, according to the team.

The Dolphins have one running back on their practice squad: Deneric Prince, an undrafted player out of Tulsa who has appeared in two NFL games (for Kansas City) but has no career rushing attempts.

Mostert had six carries for nine yards in Sunday’s game. Achane had 10 carries for 24 yards and caught seven passes for 76 yards.

Three Dolphins would have been limited participants in a normal practice Monday, according to the team: right guard Liam Eichenberg (shoulder), cornerback Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) and Jaelan Phillips (Achilles).

David Long said his finger is sore but fine overall; he would have been a full participant Monday if the team had practice.

Asked about Ramsey and Phillips, coach Mike McDaniel said both emerged from Sunday’s game fine. The injury report was released after McDaniel’s news conference, and the coach thus did not receive any questions on Mostert, Achane and Eichenberg.
