Jake Anderson, Charlotte Catholic: In a 25-22 upset win at Independence, Anderson rushed 31 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns.

Jacob Baggett, Providence Day: The Chargers’ kicker had seven of his eight kickoffs go for touchbacks in a 61-7 win at North Raleigh Christian. The eight one was caught at the 1 ending his consecutive touchback streak at 30. Baggett was 4 of 4 on PATs.

Trey Blakeney, Hough: In a 58-3 win at Chambers on Monday, Blakeney completed 10 of 14 passes for 202 yards and four touchdowns. He also had a rushing score.

Johntay Gaither, Pine Lake Prep: In a 22-8 win over Winston-Salem Prep, Gaither, a senior, rushed 16 times for 147 yards and a touchdown. He had two tackles on defense and a 21-yard kick return.

Pedro Guzman, Ardrey Kell: In a 74-7 win over Ballantyne Ridge, Guzman rushed four times for 102 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 25.5 yards per carry.

Titus Ivory, Charlotte Latin: In a 45-14 win over Covenant Day, Ivory had a 57-yard touchdown catch and run, four tackles and an interception.

Sam Jacobson, Charlotte Country Day: In a 37-16 win over Cannon School, Jacobson ran 15 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns. He caught one pass for 38 yards and a touchdown.

Major Leak, Lake Norman Charter: In a 24-8 win over Albemarle, Leak caught eight passes for 154 yards and a touchdown. He had two tackles on defense, plus a QB hurry, an interception and three passes defended.

Brody Norman, Mooresville: In a 56-7 win over Hickory Ridge, Norman was 11 for 19 for 244 yards and a school-record five touchdown passes in the first half. He also had a rushing score.

Ennis Stiles, JM Robinson: The freshman running back ran 11 times for 105 yards and a touchdown in a 36-0 win over Carson on Monday. Stiles averaged 9.5 yards per carry.

Chase Storey, East Mecklenburg: Storey had a fumble recovery and an interception in Monday’s 35-0 win over Garinger that snapped a nine-game losing streak. East Meck got its first shutout in five years.

Jayden Summers, Corvian Community: Corvian improved to 5-0 after Monday’s 16-7 win over Christ The King. Summers led the team with 12 tackles. Corvian’s defense has allowed 30 points, total, for the season.

Bryant White, North Mecklenburg: In a 51-0 win over Harding last week, White, a sophomore, had two interceptions and 95 yards total in interception return yards.
