This week in Kansas City: Fringe Festival kicks off, plus Great Car Show, Niall Horan

The KC Fringe Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary July 12-28 with its array of performance, visual and film artists.

The festival’s 12 performance venues will include City Stage at Union Station, The Bird Comedy Theater and The Black Box in West Bottoms, as well as a free art show in Union Station’s Grand Hall running July 13-27 with an opening reception at 3 p.m. July 14.

A $5 Fringe button is required to enter all performances. Tickets are $15 ($8 for ages 3-12), with five-show passes for $65 and 10-show passes for $120. Go to kcfringe.org for ticket sales and a full schedule.
