Where is Kentucky football ranked after Week 1 win over Miami (Ohio)?

When the preseason AP poll was released Aug. 15, it was a historic moment for Kentucky football.

For the first time since 1978, the Wildcats were ranked before a game was played, coming in No. 20.

Saturday's 37-13 win over Miami (Ohio), which was not as dominant as the final score indicates, did nothing to change that. UK is ranked No. 20 after the first full week of the college football season. The Wildcats moved up one spot in the USA TODAY coaches poll to No. 20.
