North Texas under tornado watch as severe storms blow through Dallas-Fort Worth
A tornado watch is in effect in North Texas until 11 a.m. today, according to the National Weather Service.
A tornado warning is in effect for Tarrant County until 9:15 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
“Conditions are favorable for severe weather. All modes of severe weather are possible, including hail up to 2 inches and isolated damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph,” a bulletin on the weather service website reads. “A few tornadoes cannot be ruled out as well. Pay close attention to the weather and have a plan if a warning is issued in your area!”
The severe weather warning includes areas from Sherman in the northeast to Cisco in the west and Glen Rose down south.
