The cast of Outer Banks have shared a new video message to fans to mark the end of season 4 filming.

The Netflix show has recently been working on its next set of episodes, and has now confirmed that it has wrapped up production.

In a video shared on social media, star Chase Stokes (John B Routledge) is accompanied by his co-stars as he tells the camera: "Hey everybody, we just wrapped season 4. We did it!

"We are super stoked about this season. We hope you love it. See you soon," he further teases.

In a separate video, Stokes tells fans: "Alright guys, we have officially wrapped season 4 of Outer Banks. It has been a crazy, crazy journey. But it's done."

After trying to dodge spoilers, he then pans to some of his co-stars, who are jokingly in the process of editing and adding sound effects.

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that a number of new stars will be joining Outer Banks for its fourth run, including The Walking Dead's Pollyanna McIntosh and Station 19's Rigo Sanchez in the roles of Dalia and Lightner.

Also joining the fray are Dead Ringers' J Anthony Crane, Dynasty's Brianna Brown and FBI: International's Mia Challis.

The show was renewed for a fourth set of episodes around the time the third season aired back in February 2023.

"Seeing Poguelandia come to life was nothing short of spectacular," creators Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke said at the time.

"The Pogues are enjoying an adventure of a lifetime, and we now get to map out more twists and turns as the joyride continues into season four of Outer Banks. Thank you to Netflix, our cast, and the amazing fans who helped to make this happen."

Outer Banks seasons 1-3 are available to watch on Netflix.
