A man is dead Sunday afternoon following a shooting near Fourth Street Live!

Louisville Metro Police, Louisville Fire Department and EMS personnel responded to a report of a shooting at the 300 block of South Fourth Street at 3:57 p.m., a MetroSafe representative confirmed.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, LMPD spokesperson John Bradley said.

LMPD's homicide unit is investigating the shooting. There were no known suspects Sunday afternoon. Anyone with information about the shooting can call 502-574-LMPD.
